Volume I of the textbook presents the general provisions of civil law, including the concept of civil law and civil legislation, civil legal relations, their subjects and objects, and the grounds for the emergence of legal relations (transactions and other legal facts).
The textbook is written in accordance with the academic curriculum based on the Civil Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan and other regulatory legal acts as of December 31, 2012. In addition to analyzing the current legislation, the textbook incorporates materials from judicial practice and presents theoretical perspectives on key issues of civil law.
The textbook was prepared by the staff of the Scientific Research Institute of Private Law at Caspian Public University, many of whom were involved in the development of the Civil Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
It is intended for students, master’s degree candidates, and lecturers of law faculties, as well as for practitioners in the judiciary, prosecution, advocacy, notarial services, legal professionals, and others studying and applying civil law.
