This work compiles scientific and popular scholarly articles by the author on the legal regulation of arbitration courts and international commercial arbitration in Kazakhstan. These articles reflect the intense struggle of scholars and legal practitioners to preserve and revive arbitration courts, which were nearly eradicated in Kazakhstan due to a targeted attack by the General Prosecutor’s Office and the Ministry of Justice of Kazakhstan. The work also includes legal opinions provided by the author on various aspects of arbitration proceedings.
The Appendices contain materials related to the establishment of the Kazakhstan International Arbitration, international arbitration congresses, as well as key laws and international treaties governing arbitration activities.
This book is intended for students, master’s and doctoral candidates, law professors, civil law and procedural law researchers, practicing lawyers, judges of state and arbitration courts, entrepreneurs, and anyone interested in arbitration as a means of protecting the rights of individuals and legal entities.
